Did u see the news today? Oh my gosh, my school is famous now, for canning students.

Well...that'd hafta depend on the situation. If the student is really out of hand and is very rebellious and abide the school rules, etc. I think that student really deserve to be caned. However, if it's gonna be caned in front of the whole school...it would be really embarrassing for that student. If it's gonna be caned in front of the whole class, the discipline master hafta at least respect the student. Well i totally agree wif Mdm Lena.

Mdm Lena, 50, has two daughters studying at Pasir Ris Secondary School. A social worker, Lena thinks public caning takes away a child's self-worth and traumatises those who witnessed it. Mdm Lena said: "There are some students who really need discipline but I hope they do it in the office like many other schools now. I know they do have to cane, but please do it in the office because these are mixed schools, there are children who are very sentimental, especially girls." Yea, at least in the office. Public canning can cause the student to lose interest in learning. Apart from canning, they can still counsel the students or giving them some advices and engage them wif understanding wat life is all about and the importance and fun of learning. Well, i think that my school had acted too rashly. Hmm....hope this inccident won't affect PRSS's reputation.

This actually reminds me of one of my classmates actually had public canning, but is class canning. So...at that moment. All of us were very shocked and were not prepared. So i actually couldn't bear to see my classmate (my er zhi) got canned...and so i cried when i heard the sound of the cane when come in contact wif the butt. And worse is the discipline master caned twice.. It's really scary and sad. I can't really think of any word to describe how i felt.
